Operations Science in Aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul
Mike McBride is the Vice President of Maintenance Operations for Delta Airline’s TechOps Services Group and Delta Material Services. He is a thirty-two year veteran of the aviation industry, including twenty-two years at Delta Air Lines and ten years in the aviation consulting business.
His professional experience includes engine and aircraft maintenance, airport operations, and airline strategy. Mike has applied operations science concepts repeatedly throughout his career and has pioneered their application in aircraft MRO. He has extensive international work experience, having worked on assignments in multiple countries in Asia, Europe, and South America.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a master of business administration from the University of Georgia. He also holds certifications in LEAN operations systems design and constraints management from the University of Tennessee.
