Mike McBride is a senior aerospace maintenance and operations executive with a distinguished career at Delta Air Lines, where he most recently served as Vice President of Maintenance Operations for Delta TechOps.

 

Mike has led large, complex maintenance organizations supporting global airline operations, with a focus on reliability, safety, and operational excellence. His leadership experience spans workforce development, capacity management, and execution in highly regulated environments.


His professional experience includes engine and aircraft maintenance, airport operations, and airline strategy. Mike has applied operations science concepts repeatedly throughout his career and has pioneered their application in aircraft MRO. He has extensive international work experience, having worked on assignments in multiple countries in Asia, Europe, and South America.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a master of business administration from the University of Georgia. He also holds certifications in LEAN operations systems design and constraints management from the University of Tennessee.
