Jeff is managing partner of Arc Precision a contract manufacturer for the medical device industry. Jeff is also a co-author of Factory Physics for Managers, How Leaders Improve Performance in a Post-Lean Six Sigma World.
He consults with select private equity portfolio companies and Fortune 500 companies to help them develop and implement operations science based strategies to improve customer service, profitability, and return on capital. Jeff has a proven track record of driving profitable growth in manufacturing settings. His career has included roles as vice president at the Rosemount Flow Division of Emerson Electric, where he was general manager for the Magmeter and Vortex business units. He started his career in operations at Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals. Finally, he serves on the board of West Side Forward, a non-profit organization focused on business development, workforce development, and industrial development advocacy on the west side of Chicago.
Jeff has a bachelor of science in operations research from Cornell University, a master of business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a master of engineering management from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University. He co-authored the Harvard Business School case, “The Rosemount Vortex Flowmeter Plant”, which demonstrates how to apply operations science concepts. He is a clinical professor at Dominican University.
